We will be located in downtown Puyallup for the 6-week fall season starting September 5 and going through October 10.
During this time, you can find us at 115 2nd St SE in downtown Puyallup- basically the center of the space for the market.
We will have designated entrance and exits there, so be on the lookout for signage that indicates those when you are there. We will be posting about it on Facebook once the logistics are solidified.
We understand this will be an adjustment for you- as it will be for us.
Same kind of rules will apply, only in a new location and different set up. However, we will have many of our vendors joining us this 6 week fall season, so you can keep coming to support local producers/farmers- they’ll be looking for you too! Because the State Fair will not be happening this year, there should be no worries about coming downtown in September and supporting the market and the local stores on a Saturday!
This is NOT the Pioneer Park location that you have become accustomed to. We plan to return there next year when we are not under pandemic regulations. (Let’s all work together to make that happen by supporting health safety measures, please).
While you are in the area, please consider also stopping by some of the downtown shops and restaurants- they are really looking forward to seeing you again!
Puyallup Main Street Association (PMSA) operates the Puyallup Farmers’ Market. The purpose of PMSA is to support downtown Puyallup businesses. Due to this COVID pandemic, it has been necessary to make adjustments to our operations, much like everyone else.
We are happy to continue safe market operation while supporting our mission to downtown Puyallup.

<![CDATA[Our market on May 9th]]>Fri, 08 May 2020 02:49:12 GMThttp://puyallupfarmersmarketstore.com/blog/our-market-on-may-9th
This Saturday we are going to host a trial market. In accordance with local regulations and health codes, we will be allowing no more than 60 vendors to come and sell essential produce and food. On May 9th from 9am to 2pm, our new adjusted market will be at the South Hill Mall (in the Southwest parking lot by the former Sears location).
This new location will allow us to have appropriate space for social distancing. We have been authorized for only ONE weekend at this time and it will be a very different market from what you might be accustomed to. The most important aspect of this market is the safety and health of all involved. All of us at the market are asking you wonderful people to come and shop but keep social distancing and community health as a priority on Saturday.
Customers will be asked to limit their time at the market. We cannot have large crowds at this market so please come in, do your shopping, and allow others to come after. It is our intention to keep you updated on our social media channels throughout the run of the day so that you can see the best times to arrive. You will want to come and shop as individuals and not as families. We will have new safety measures in place and strict social distancing tools to ensure everyone’s health and safety. We really want to be able to continue our market through the year so we need your help in adhering to these new regulations.
While we are thrilled to be able to offer healthy, fresh, and local food to our community, our equally strong commitment is to everyones' health. Stay tuned to the facebook page and join us this Saturday for our one day farmers market event.
Also please be sure to wear a mask or something that covers your nose and mouth when you attend the market. We truly appreciate your help and support.

We will keep you posted on updates regarding opening. Meanwhile, it's important to share instructions for shoppers so you can be prepared when we do open!
Guidelines for Shoppers at Market when we open under COVID restrictions:
• First, stay at home if you are sick (this includes anything that causes a runny nose, sneezing, coughing, etc).
• Come prepared with a grocery list.
• Limit market attendance to one person per household whenever possible
• Wash or sanitize your hands before entering the farmers market.
- We will limit to one entrance/exit as we need to maintain physical distancing requirements.
• Keep a minimum of 6' between yourselves and others
- Abide by the markings to show appropriate distances, and signage to explain any other protocols in place.
• Shop with your eyes and allow vendors to bag for you.
• Don’t eat at the Farmers Market. On site food consumption is not permitted.
• Minimize your time at the market- make your purchases and head for home. Sorry, now is not the time for socializing.
• Use debit card when possible
• Offer to purchase food at the market for friends/neighbors who are unable to attend. Maintain physical distancing when dropping off food.
- We're all in this together- be patient and kind with one another. We're going to win this battle.
